| NOVEMBER | 15th 16th ~ Bendigo Swap Meet 22nd ~ Run to Fosterville Gold Mine, Saturday 22nd. Meet at the new BP service station adjacent to the Calder Thunder Dome at 8.30am and depart no later than 8.45am. We will then travel along the Calder Highway to Kyneton/Heathcote exit, going via Langley - Redesdale to Heathcote, where we will take time out for a coffee break, about 30 minutes. Then, we continue through Heathcote, Knowsley and Axedale. Turn right opposite the Police station - 7km - and follow signs to Fosterville Gold Mine. The local school will supply a BBQ with all proceeds going to the School. You can find your own way home via Kilmore or Tooberac for a change or take the same route back. Melb/Kyneton 66km - Kyneton/Heathcote 53km - Heathcote/Axedale 26km - Axedale/Fosterville 7km : Approx total - 155km. Please contact Joe Blitz Ph: 9379 4583 to confirm numbers...

14th ~ Christmas Picnic. To be held at Jells Park Wheelers Hill, Melway Ref 71 K6. Arrive at 10.00am onwards. Members Ray Cook and David Troundson will be reserving space for us on the morning of the event so the more people who arrice early the easier it will be to keep parking available for all our members. There are BBQ's available and a kiosk...... |
